Why we built Simply Managed AI

Deals are rarely lost at the lead. They are lost in the follow-through. This is the short version of how that observation became a company.

Hand-drawn timeline: a lone operator buried in scattered messages, a five-person AI pod around a table, an approval gate shield, a weekly cadence heartbeat, and a rising proof line — how Simply Managed AI came to be.
The arc: from nobody owns the follow-through, to a pod, a gate, a cadence, and proof.

The observation

Agents and small teams already own email, a website, a CRM, a calendar, and probably a few AI tools. What they do not own is the work between them: the lead that waits until tomorrow, the past client who never hears back, the marketing that stops the week a listing gets busy.

The 2025 REALTORS Technology Survey backs up what we saw from the inside: most agents already use the tools, and the leading reason they adopt technology is to save time. The market does not need another lecture about AI. It needs the tools it already owns turned into a dependable operating routine.

The company

Simply Managed AI is led by Vanessa Rudin, who runs operations, and Empowered.Guru LLC, which builds and licenses the agent platform underneath. We are our own first customer: every workflow enters the client library only after it has done real operating work inside this company.

The timeline, so far

  • August 2026 — formation sprint: customer interviews, the first workflow library, compliance boundaries, and the decision to go real-estate-first.
  • Fall 2026 — first design partners launch at full price, with baseline metrics recorded before configuration and a 60-day operating review.
  • Ongoing — one vertical at a time. We expand to the next (starting with accounting) only after the current one is proven repeatable.

What we refuse to do

  • No guaranteed-lead or 10x claims. We publish what we can measure, with the period and the source.
  • Nothing client-facing sends without your approval.
  • Licensed judgment, money movement, and access changes are never delegated to software.
  • No client name, logo, or result appears anywhere without written approval.
